If you’re having a multicultural wedding, make sure your makeup artist has real experience working with different skin tones, undertones, ethnicities, and skin textures.

Without a strong understanding of color theory and color correction, deeper skin tones can end up looking gray or ashy, with dark spots and under-eye discoloration showing through.

Nailing Bri’s dream bridal look took intention… and two trials! 💁‍♀️

At her first trial, Bri wasn’t quite sure what she wanted. She’s not really a “makeup girl,” but she was curious to see herself a little more glam, with longer lashes and more definition. She wore that look for her engagement photos (what you see here), and it translated beautifully on camera… but in person, she didn’t feel like herself. And that matters most on your wedding day. 👰‍♀️

That first trial also gave us the space to talk skin. We addressed irritation, peeling, and pores, and created a plan she could realistically follow. 📝

By the second trial, everything shifted.
Her skin had noticeably improved, and more importantly, she had clarity. She knew what she loved, what she didn’t, and what felt like her. 💖

Nailing Bri’s dream bridal look took intention… and two trials! 💁‍♀️

At her first trial, Bri wasn’t quite sure what she wanted. She’s not really a “makeup girl,” but she was curious to see herself a little more glam, with longer lashes and more definition. She wore that look for her engagement photos (what you see here), and it translated beautifully on camera… but in person, she didn’t feel like herself. And that matters most on your wedding day. 👰‍♀️

That first trial also gave us the space to talk skin. We addressed irritation, peeling, and pores, and created a plan she could realistically follow. 📝

By the second trial, everything shifted.

Her skin was already spectacular, so the goal was to preserve the glow and natural skin texture while creating a foundation that would stay flawless through an all-night celebration. Cheeks were nicely enhanced with a dewy finish using my custom-blended airbrushed blush.

For the eyes, we went with soft smoky cool tones to echo the 1920s mood, but here’s the twist: instead of the classic rounded shape of the era, we accentuated her beautiful almond eyes with a modern cat/siren eye.

The result?
Chef’s kiss. 🤌🏻💋😊
